RE: RE: RE: Rosia Montana Gold Mine Referendum Inv There was no such thing as a ‘local’ referendum. This referendum was neither 'local', nor 'county'. It was a regional referendum organized only in 35 towns in Alba county. And the result was crystal clear:
With only 43.2% turnout (way below the 50 percent threshold needed to validate the vote), the referendum was invalidated. Period.
In other words, ‘money (wasted) for nothing’.
And just as a reminder: even if it was validated, the referendum had absolutely no legal value. It has only been an unsuccessful PR action by Gabriel.
