RE: RE: Dec 10th But then that would be acting on insider information. And any deals would still have to be finalized by Jan 18th. I don't know if bidders are committed to anything, other than provding a bid deposit by November 30th. Futura has to make a choice by Dec 10th, but any deal could be signed as late as January 18th, 2013.
Any negotiations between now and Jan 18th could still have a chance of falling through. So nobody would be buying the stock yet. On the other hand, maybe there's no shareholder value left.
Under either scenario the 1/2 cent bids, etc would vanish. If no shareholder value left, then why bother with sell orders. If the asks begin to vanish without any buying, it could be positive or negative. But if positive I would also expect some buying.
The fear of a rollack, fear of bankruptcy and the uncertain nature of the business all are conspiring to hold the stock price down whatever the final outcome. I'm looking at Advantex and the bids are only 1/2 cent, this despite the company making some profit. But like Futura, Advantex survives on debt for financing. Eventually it will be too much if revenues don't keep pace. Same fate as Futura.
