seems there is a grade problem as >2.0 g/t Au must be sub-economic. However, as stated in the release, there are known extremly high grade gold ore chutes that, if mined with care, can make a big impact on the bottom line. Wouldn't take much of 300 oz/tonne Au material to pay the bills (that is about $500,000 per tonne! - something as big as a couple wheel barrows).

 

These high grade ore chutes were always known, the trick always was to extract them efficiently and not take all the surrounding waste with them. IMO this requires very skilled geolgists and miners, very skilled!

 

One more thing (and this is known to have been a problem in the past), gold theft. With grades this high it is easy to walk away with the gold if proper security is not there...
