You could arbitrarily disregard ''Why''....and we all know he's not altering the outcome here...he just gives you the story as it is !!
But you can't disregard your ever dwindling price....a clever 'elf' would have begged Santa to stop the incessant price erosion. And if Santa could magically pull that rabbit out of the hat .....then we'd probably all ''BELIEVE''.....even Santa has his limitations !!!!!
