It is a silicon chip and will be significantly slower and use more energy than the GaAs POET monolithic chip that combines all functions on single chip.

POET will operate at significantly higher speed. Much smaller form factor with all functions including RF combined into one chip.

There will be no comparison once POET is ready for the market.
