RE: What more will RIM announce on Jan 30th?

the "anything" is likely to be partnerships or JV's with other well known tech companies that can benefit from RIM's hardware or licensing their software. We've already seen the power of QNX in the Porche and Jeep. Imagine seeing it in your home alarm system and being able to arm/disarm it securely from your BB10 smartphone.

For the last 8 years, NASA has been using QNX in Lazer Camera Systems in their space shuttles: https://www.berryreview.com/2011/01/31/qnx-goes-to-space-in-nasa-space-shuttle/ According to a user that commented on the article, "It’s kernel [refering to QNX] allows it to stay stable even if a process crashes. It doesn’t take down the whole system. This makes it an easy choice for embedded systems like ones that NASA or a hospital uses."

How about some JV's with Samsung, LG or Siemens for medical equipment? With the power and stability of their new OS, the "anything" can listerally mean just that, anything.
