Yes, well, according to you panglossian logic, the GOM would never have caused

any trouble in the first place because "gee, lets all be friends and share the pot".

But NOOO, its not working that way is it?  Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to scare

anybody -- I'm an investor.  But if you think there isn't any possibility of this escalating negatively,

you are being far too optimistic.  Believe me, the GOM is considering ALL options.

Sure, China can throw the switch, but the Mongolians won't care as long as they

can call it their own.  They'll get someone else to build a power generator. 

The best way to deal with a bad situation is to expect the worst, not the best -- that way

you can prepare.  At the very least, I think we can all agree that we should not expect

the best from the GOM -- until the signals change drastically.
