Question Lets say RBYC has a very strong case against HDNI, just for argument sake since they are willing to meet. Both companies are financially struggling. HDNI has drilling equipment available which RBYC does not. Could this meeting be the beginning of a strategic partnership between the two companies? The fact that they are meeting in Tanzania instead of here would possibly indicate they are interested in something there, perhaps looking over assets and property and the logistics of working together.
I realize there has been bad blood between them but wouldn't this help solve mutual problems? Both companies also have board positions open which would allow easier integration adding members to each others board or even merging the companies. They are in the same industry, in the same country/area, and with the many of the same needs. A strategic partnership or even merger could help solve problems. There is other questions I have about the possibility of a merger but I am not going to get into them as there is no evidence of that.
