RE: RE: Cash Flows - FUTURE DUH! Oh Bottles - you present yourself as Gent and above the fray then you come up with a blatantly sexist comment like that? You sir are sexist PIG!
.
You can't predict the price of gold over the next 5-years? Huh, what do you suppose Analysts do? Throw their hand up and say it can't be done?
.
Shoot - read these BBs and one will see all kinds of support for articles that claim gold is going to 3500 (Sinclair) or 5000 (McEwen). You would up grade a post stating one of those figures but won't venture an educated guess on future prices?
.
What? you can't look back at the past and see that over the last 6 years that POG has gone up an average of 19.4% per year. Just because one can't predict the exact number doesn't mean the exercise is useless. What if one were to put a growth rate of 20% per year into their prediction/model and that turns out to be high - then what? Obviously one's cash flows and thus share price is going to be too high. So you play around with the parameters and see how it effect the outcome - that analysis tells you key things about how the company should be valued.
.
But alas, apparently you'd rather be a sexist PIG than have a decent conversation here. Sad.
.
Good luck with your back of the envelope calculations and "hope"!
