There has been  no hiring    in Nisku  for along time now.  This was not the case last year.  Hyduke  will now manufacture exclusively  for   international customers in   Houston    as that ramps up  and    Nisku  will   be  for Canada  and      nearby   locales such as the Bakken  .  I    have the feeling    the move to Houston was predicated  on the    notion that  Hyduke's  biggest customers would guarantee a    base amount of manufacturing in exchange  for the rigs  built  there cheaper. Recognizing that  its  not a good policy   to offshore   all  your manufacturing  I  think  the big drig  drillers will  get   better pricing by having their rigs for   USA and Americas  built in Houston as  a complement to the Canadian  rigs built  in Edmonton.

The comment  about   better  servicing "  the customers they  want "   sounds  rather flippant on first impression.   After all , aren't all customers     valuable to a corporation?    There   are  things going on here folks  behind the scenes  for comments to be  " thrown  out  "     just like that.   The   "expect this and   expect that "  phraseology is  something we have  never ever seen    from   the uber  conservative   Maccormack.  i  had to read it twice    before   believing it.   The tone of the    MD and A   is totally  new also.  Before all  we read was some glum forecast from  PSAC  about the number  of weels expected to be drilled etc.,. Now  there is nothing like that.   I  dont know whats brewing  but something is.  I   know this company and  it    always surprises   hard  and without warning.
