Actually, Peter McLaughlin owns only 13% of pref. The author of the Fin Post article mistakenly included the 47% of pref shares owned by Solar Harvest. Mr McLaughlin did not participate in the negotiations of the settlement and he abstained voting

They will keep on paying/owing a dividend of prime plus 2, with a min/max of  4% / 8%
