According to execs at the CESCU copper conference,lower grades, higher costs of labour and electricty have combined to reduce Chile's competetiveness as the world's #1 producer of copper....this makes DM's project look all that more appealing and must certainly make it seem an even better investment to Antofogasta........perhaps they will try to speed up the process so that DM can pick up some of the slack as production declines and/or becomes more expensive in Chile......all imho.....
