RE: RE: RE: Urthecast, LFD not the first to tie th I am a shareholder of LFD but I bought after the new board took over. It is hard to assess the valuation of Urthecast. From what I have been able to determine Urthecast has spent nothing close to $63.5 million on its project and the impact of the private placements they are doing before the deal takes place ( and ho is involved in those ) is hard to assess. We will have to wait for the fairness opinions they will have to provide as part of the disclosure to shareholders before we will know how the valuations are being justified.
As I see it now LFD is paying $25 million to own approximately 25 % of a very cool concept that could really take off. The real issue is whether that concept can generate sufficient revenue to make that 25% ownership lucrative.
