RE: RE: SUMMARY - Cut the Divvy + Sell AssetsYoplait. - even dividend investors such as yourself would be wise to put the health of the share price above all other considerations.I bought in for the dividend too - but what use is the divi if it costs you a 50% loss in capital as the decline in RPL has done for many original investors. It would take years of the dividend - even ifit could be maintained. - to return the lost capital.Now the damage has been done a better solution is one that the markets find credible that will result in a healthy SP appreciation . As for maintaining trust in management by keeping the dividend. - well that's like closing the gate after the horse has bolted - they lost that trust weeks back>
