The only problem with long term horizons - and this is where retail investors often get the short end of the stick. - is that the decision to wait and sell is often taken out of your hands when a buyout isaccepted way below your bought in price.Classic example is SCS. Trading just over a year ago close to $4. only to see the SP slide and slide eventual touching ten cents andnow in the process of being bought out at 30 cents.>
