Does anyone here have connections within LAN?

Does anyone here have connections within LAN?If there is anyone here on this board who knows Mr. Watson you should pass on this information. Title of the article is Palm goes into expansion mode By Carmen Nobel, eWEEK June 28, 2000 10:50 AM ET --As for expanding into the air, Palm also introduced the Palm Mobile Internet Kit, a software package that lets users connect their Palm Pilots to the Internet via cell phone, using either a cable or the devices' Infrared port. The kit is due later this year and will cost less than $50, officials said. The kit will support all devices that run on Palm OS 3.5 and any devices that can be upgraded to that version of the OS.-- I have heard figures that there will be tens of millions of Pilot users within the next two years. As stated above these very useful gadgets have Infrared ports and so I would guess Infrared is on the come back in a very big and substantial way. Any company with Infrared technology is going to get sctutinized very carefully in the near future. If FiRLAN has any products compatible with the Palm Pilot it could make this stock worth a bundle. To tell you the truth I thought Infrared was dead, but I guess not.Very surprised that Palm is using Infra, very surprised indeed. I can see now that there will be thousands upon thousands of Infrared access points for the Palm anyone who has compatible technology will do very very well.
