Unfortunately, the reality for most Bayfield investors is that they bought at much higher prices on the expectation of an "obvious" buyout but as the SP drifted downward, not even an offer at a 100% premium would put them back in the black again. I'm not suggesting that an offer with a 100% premium will happen. In fact, the only way to re-coup any paper loss would be to average down by buying at current SP.
