RE: RE: Sliding into the toilet

You could very well be right divy, but the SE Sask assets are valuable and lucrative in terms of low cost oil production and great netbacks, so if RPL can hit or exceed their production targets this year (SE Sask + Viking), they may be able to generate the cash flow necessary to pay down debt. Neither you or I know what moves RPL will make, or how investors will react to the news. Again, the saving graces of this company in my opinion (and what may allow them to turn things around) are: 1) The SE Sask assets. 2) Good netbacks. 3) Significant hedges in place to offer some downside protection to a decrease in  the price of oil. I am concerned about Erickson and Wylie - not sure how much of a grip they have on the BOD or the larger shareholders.....I don't expect a change of President and CEO (Erickson) or VP Fianance and CFO (Wylie), but it might be a pleasant surprise if proven, expericenced replacements came in to right the ship.
