If there is a slow period, it has not started yet. Considering China is 40% of copper's world demand, it is the major player. The EU and US are the consumer nations that China would theoretically become. The US is 25% of China's copper demand in 2012 while the United State's GDP is twice China's "fake" GDP numbers. Middle class consumption does not fuel copper demand as much as infrastructure projects, just look at the US and EU's copper consumption now vs China. No one has convinced me otherwise yet, but I am all ears if you can give me an opposing view. GL
