Economy Daily Dickson Lee, the founder and CEO of United States NASDAQ listed company L & L Energy and almunus of Chung Yuan Christian University, returned to his alma mater to discuss new energy technology with the R&D Department of the University as well as thank the University for supporting him.
Dickson Lee stated that global competition for energy resources is becoming more and more competitive, and the development of clean, environmental friendly energy technology is becoming more and more active. In order to reinforce their investment in Taiwan, L&L Energy decided to apply for Taiwan Depository Receipts. L&L is going to submit the application documents in September and go public in December. L&L is the first NASDAQ company to issue TDR in Taiwan.
L&L Energy, Inc. was formed in 1995. It's headquartered in Seattle and originally focused primarily on coal energy investments. L&L energy conducts business across the United States, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and it is currently the only public company in Washington State that is founded by a person of Asian descent. Dickson Lee is the founder
and CEO of L&L Energy. He holds a CPA license and an MBA degree as well as 30 years of experience in corporate finance.
When he first entered the market, Dickson Lee saw that Chinese coal quality and mining technology was subpar.
Through the use of capital, modern machinery and expertise, and a highly efficient management system, Mr. Lee helped increase the overall quality, safety, and environmental friendliness of China's coal industry. He stated that coal cleaning technology from the United States, ability to process pollutants, and aggressive acquisition strategies are the key to L&L Energy's success in the Chinese market.
Dickson Lee donated 1,000,000 stock shares to Chung Yuan Christian University's Development Foundation, sponsoring the construction of the Administration Building. He also donated money when told about typhoon Morakot's devastation in Taiwan. L&L is not only an example of a successful Asian company, but also sets an example for entreprenuers to give back to the community.
