I agree that McRae is aware that shareholders have nothing but disdain for him and his leadership team, especially after the recent placement, but I would be shocked if he thought he was doing anything short of an outstanding job.
With that said, I am confident that his fellow executives and board realize that the governance of the company has been astonishingly bad, and the treatment of shareholders has been as close to contrived neglect as is legal in Canada. They would be unemployable in the future if they were not aware of this.
If GW wins, they all have to walk immediately, and I am sure they know this. McRae may not know it, but the rest of the crew has to know it.
