Stornoway is recruiting an Information Management Technician. Reporting to the Project Control Manager, the 

Information management technician is based in Longueuil, Québec and reporting to the Project control Manager. He

is part of the construction and engineering team. He is required to ensure that all document control activities and 

project information are carried out to meet the project schedules in a well-organized and cost effective manner.

While developing the first diamond mine in Québec, we offer a great and stimulating work environment, good

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills: 

 Proven experience and track record in document control;

 5 years as document controller or equivalent in EPC document control support;

 Experience in the construction field;

 Experience within the mining industry is definitely an asset;

 Autonomy combined to attention to details and accuracy;

 Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;

 Ability to work efficiently and proactively to meet tight deadlines; 

 Excellent ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks and execute; 

 Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French required; 

 Strong computer literacy (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook exchange, Power Point and database) required;

 Experience with Sharepoint is an important asset;

 Knowledge of engineering regulation in Quebec and Guidelines for engineering documents, seal and signature;

 Interest and ability to work in a multicultural workplace;
