Hi Wittmann,

I actually believe that any stock under $5 / share is actually considered a "penny stock". As far as big institutions buying - whatever the regulations are, I think it does vary from institution to institution.

On a side note, BKX (BNK Petroleum) is still being held by George Soros. His holdings are about 17.5%. As it turns out he has been buying shale gas exploration companies and has a stake in a few of them in Poland as he believes that Poland can exploit shales gas as the US is doing (despite what the EU and Russia state - each have their own different arguments but coming to the same conclusion: shale gas + Poland is not a good combo).

The tidbit about George Soros, I got from this link: https://gazlupkowy.pl/soros-rzadzi-w-polskich-lupkach/ - the title of the article translated "Soros rules in Polish shale". The tidbit in brackets is my own opinion.
