RE:RE:RE:RE:Board of Directors out of control, check Barrick Gold!!Scoutaz seems to be one who is actually following things and is plugged in. I have been ignoring the thing and all I have heard recently is that there is a lot more gold in the ground at Springpole than the general public understands, and it will take some drilling to prove it out. That said, and as Scoutaz says, the current price doesn't have any relationship to the gold already discovered, and it is unexplained even by the near Apocalypse in the market. Obviously the departures in early summer were a big deal. We could waste time with forensics: Did the someone destroy the stock price by 1) inaction during the 6-month period he was trying to get work permission where the company went quiet for now reason; 2) alienating important people in the industry and institutions; 3) mishandling the PEA and how it was presented; 4) hiring a buddy who did not have the connections claimed and actually was a disservice; 5 or laziness? I do not know the answer to these questions. Perhaps the Lone Ranger and Tonto were just innocent bystanders. And perhaps the Titanic was actually struck by a large Narwhal. Only the board and a select few know the details for sure. What is clear is the stock fell far and fast once there was a change at the helm. The fall from the $1.20 range was just inexplicable. Did the recent rise in the stock correspond to the Lone Ranger's departure? It certainly corresponeded to one thing that hadn't been around for a long long time -- buyers. I do not know. Is it just a coincidence that once he was gone Rick Rule suddenly started calling GCU one of the best projects in Canada? Is it a good thing that those two are no longer taking large salaries? Most on this board have their own opiniions on these issues. I do know that people who I thought would never buy more shares at any price did in fact, as Scoutaz says "step up." I am still long and if this major Fed surprise turns out to be a seachange for gold, then I think we rock and roll. $1425 oz. would be pivotal. As always, only the ramblings and pure opinions of a grizzled prospector living in a shack in Winnemucca with old license plates as metal siding, and any reference to any real persons living or dead is purely coincidental.
