Shorters only win big time if the rollback causes the share price to drop which is what almost always happens with rollbacks. Hence anyone shorting such a stock would be motivated to do whatever it takes to drive management towards doing a rollback.
This is one big reason that a rollback will not occur unless the minority of shareholders get their way and toss management out. Rollbacks are the kiss of death for existing shareholders and Chris Dupont knows that.
For the record, there have been only 2,000 or so shares held in short position for the past few months. Shorting is not an issue here at the moment. The relentless attempts, to create an opportunity for shorting, are.
