Stine Estensen been appointed general manager of Meloy Development KF.
Stine Estensen (51) has been appointed acting CEO since Meloy Development KF was established in January 2013. When the score was announced last spring, Estensen one of the applicants. She has now agreed to take daily charge of the new company, whose mission is to lead the restructuring process in Meloy.
Estensen has an MBA and has extensive experience in business development.
- I have worked on development projects in different companies over many years. Being to take the strategic realignment within bandwagon in Meloy is in many ways much of the same work, yet something new when I now get to work with a whole, not just individual projects, says Estensen.
The biggest challenge in the important work she is to chair, is the priority, says she.
- Now we have recently adopted a new strategy and action plan for restructuring work. It will be an important tool to help us prioritize properly, she said.
The strategic plan has set a need to establish 570 new jobs quote system restructuring period until 2018.
- I mean it is a realistic goal. We will invest heavily in new industry. It's risky, but at the same time it will give us the greatest gain. But equally important is the focus on eksistrende businesses and help them to develop further. We are working for the future, and we believe, she concludes.
