Your points are hard to confirm or deny because they are ambiguous bordering on contradictory and ultimately irrelevant to Counsel. Shorting this is a much riskier play than being long. CXS had already proven as recent as q3 that MUA is up significantly this year so I'm not sure what your point is regarding headlines or any speculative gap between perception and reality. Like styles said, this success of this company in 2014 rides on refinancings already under management, not pure sales. 

Counsel has to manage costs and improve margins. Interest rates are staying low for the next few years. These are normal market palpatations that often scare the retail crowd. As far as dilution goes, tell me what for? They are already in the process of divesting non-core assets that will add to the cash position, any potential dilution regarding these spinouts has been speculated on for ages already.
