RE:RE:RE:RE38
As far as I know although we did not physically feel it we got the shaft.
The Company supposedly had some good proprietary technology and were getting it into the market but then for some unkown reason they decided to acquire some "related" business which subsequently put them into bankruptcy. This worked to the effect of shafting all the little shareholders and we got boom all -- not even an explanation of how they shafted us.
The website is still there as you say and the tehnology seems to have been taken over by Salient Imaging which appears to be a private company so you cannot get any info as to how it is/was set up. As RE38 says it's possible it has a lot of the same management of the old MKI.
If they had just gone through the process of "going private" I believe they would have had to but out the shareholders. By declaring bankruptcy it seems they were able to avoid that process ... to the detriment of the shareholders ... but then who cares about them.
I'm not sure if I am correct in any of my musings here but it is my interpretation or perspective of what I think happened. Somebody out there may correct me if I'm out of line or out to lunch.
