Riddle me this!Or should the title more appropriately end in a "?" ?
I find hind sight, over a period of time, measured in years not days, quite helpfull in where we are and where we have been. As I slam this down I appologize in advance for my poor editing.
So, riddle me this?
We have seen in the press over the past few years that Blackberry has the best mobile security. We hear rumours that MS has spent somewhere in the neighbourhood of 10B building a competative product. Was it cancelled?
Now the news of the day is Samsung Knox. Samsung spending to-date upwards of 14B to make a competative blackberry BES solution. OK fine, it has technology challenges and Samsung is moving forward. It letigimizes the BES business in the first place.
My problem is this. What a load of krap, that BB can not be sold to the Chinese. Or Koreans. I guess Samsung did not want BB, but wht a load of KRAP that the Canadian governament would never allow it. Why I ask does it really matter who owns the encryption technology, the chinese or not. The Koreans or not?
If the US DoD is trying or testing out Samsung Knox in the first place, they must have intentions of using it if Samsung can get it working satisfactorily for the DoD. What a pile of Stinking KRAP, you can not sell to the east but hey, we are buing their stuff left and right anyway so suck it up loosers!
Riddle me that.
PS. My next rant may just be on the infamous Jim Balsillie. Which, for all you NHL haters, will probably make you do a 180.
