RE:Rags to Riches?????some of these stocks mentioned seem cheap and like a bargain but sometimes when stuff is on sale there is a good reason for it...many of those names could still see further downside...BB and ATH are two good examples of potentail value but also potential problems...i would rather pay a little more for a stock heading in the right direction then to find the bottom of a troubled corp...Gold sector is iffy and GS has said it will go lower...many hedgefund have sold gold and even Paulson has said uncle on that commodity...
I like oil more for short term upside but again its gotta be in a bull trend before i buy...no interest in bearish oil stocks...one eye open on the movement of gold but sold all my gold out earlier on when it got the 30% bear rally...dead money for now...deep value as the author calls it can also equate to value trap...been there done that and dead money stinks when its going nowhere for years...
