Amazing

Amazingwhat sort of rabble-rabble is set off by a few dry holes. AOI's overall success rate in E. Africa is still very impressive and every one of us knew long ago they weren't going to hit 100% or anywhere near it in the long run. We also knew the high share price reflected a lot of speculation on future success and that the price was going to fluctuate widely with each success or failure. So, it seems everything is going exactly as we knew it would.
Yes, there's some concern about being able to open up a new basin to continue to fuel the share price, but be assured there are many, many proven basins that started out with more than a few dry holes.  Go find any area the size of these permits anywhere on the face of the earth, including the North Sea, and count the dry holes. Even in very advanced or mature areas there are plenty of them drilled every year.
