Is has nothing to do with being smarter than Anto or DM management. DM management can quite simply line their pockets with some nice options anytime they want and so why would they bother putting money in during a slow period even if the stock is trading at a bargain price. Anto like most majors have certain rules that they tend to follow when investing in juniors and generally want to see a feasibility study before taking over a company. Again, they are in no hurray as the current deal they have gives them contol anytime they want anyway.  JMO
