RE:Could this be another flushing....Q.. Can someone explain how much water is added in beginning startup and how water is recirculated within a well? When 9-3 was drilled, it lost circulation. So, I understand that water is used in the drilling process but it would seem that once a well is drilled or lengthened like 9-3 that... either water is present and already hot and/or water is added/injected until the well is sufficiently full or at a level that is desired. This amount of water would vary depending upon the characteristics of the well. Second part.. we get the steam out, make electricity, then it condenses, and we reinject... assume this is essentially a closed loop, no or little new water added as no or little water is lost. Third.. would it make sense to take 12-3 offline and put 9-3 online for an hour or so of testing?
