RE:Consider the discounted price a Gift.with Respol sniffing around Talisman, to me that says European Oils, which have traditionally explored high risk areas of the world, are seeing the value in CA assets. Total, Eni, Statoil all have firepower for conventional oil/ng assets. I would not be surprised to see some more Chinese interest in conventional assets, or at the very least, Japanese or Korean/Malaysian (PETRONAS) So that may be our catalyst.. jv or buyouts, asset swaps..what is not to like about CA, for the most part, the infrastructure is going to be built out, oil is getting out by rail, ship, pipes.. AAA banking system and currency relatively stable,, and a lot of value available.
