RE:RE:Annual and 1Q Results out!!
RE:RE:Annual and 1Q Results out!!During the months of April, May and June 2014, copper cathode production was 619 tonnes, 608 tonnes and 584 tonnes, respectively." "The Company also began to review the potential of expanding the LdC mine life. The copper deposit at LdC has the potential for expansion as follow: Southwest extension of LdC: in 2007, new resources were added in the Southwest portion of the ore body. The 2007 drilling program indicated that mineralization may continue along a fault block displacement to the Southwest of the South LdC pit area. Six drill holes are planned to test a possible southwest extension of the mineralization in the South pit area. West Extension, Calvario Ore body: the 2007 drilling program in the Calvario area added to ore resources for the Calvario pit definition. However, the drilling left several areas open to the west and south, and at depth for the indicated ore body. The near surface oxide and supergene mineralization appears to occur as a blanket type body of varying thickness. Several drill holes are projected for this area of mineralization. The program may be extended depending on the surface appearance of the resulting core samples. The new core will be logged, split and sent for assay for both copper and gold. It is of interest that the Calvario ore body, similar to the LdC ore body, appears to have an overlaying cap of breccia that contains some significant gold values. The new drill core will also be tested for gold values that may assist in valuation mine planning of the Calvario ore body. The Calvario drill program includes 11 core holes but this program may be extended.... The exploration drilling program that began during the first quarter of 2014 has been extended into the second and third quarter, with primary focus on the Calvario resource increase and upgrading. More information will be published at the completion of the drilling program. "
