RE:RE:Namibia : one more farminThe Namibian government must be thinking they will strike there.Thats the only block where the operator has to commit to drill three wells during 8 years.That will be very expensive.
An operator will have to pay maybe more than 300 million $.
In most other blocks the operator can walk away if the first well is dry,as for example Petrobras,BP,
probably Repsol and others have done.
A three well commitment is a sign they believe in the block but it could also make it more difficult to find partners.
Another reason maybe could be they believe they will find gas.
