Southern Pacific Resource Corp. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the thermal production of heavy oil in Senlac, Saskatchewan on a property known as STP-Senlac, and thermal production of bitumen on a property located in the Athabasca region of Alberta known as STP-McKay, as well as exploration for and development of in-situ oil sands in the Athabasca region of Alberta. Its STP-McKay property consists of oil sands leases totaling approximately 37,760 acres. The Company’s operations also include Anzac, Hangingstone and Ells. The Company’s STP-McKay property is located approximately 45 kilometers northwest Ft. McMurray. The Anzac project covers approximately 117 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic. The Company owns 80% interest in Hangingstone project. The Ells project covers approximately 164 kilometers of two-dimensional (2D) seismic.

RE:RE:This is not intended to be a happy ending.You answered your own question...it is semantics and nothing  more.I dont see your objection when you obviously agree.The statement I was making about the reverse split was more in reference to other poster's "hopes" of this company's possble turnaround.A reverse split technically happens when a company wants it self to qualify for certain trading conditions.So at this stage its a non issue as far as I can see.Besides its never in the best interest of existing shareholders.(At least never for companies that I 've owned)
I really didnt want to contribute to rumour,as this board has enough.Its just there are many people that have lost money here,and many people were lead astray by "napkin calculations" made by posters posing as knowledgeable people but in reality knew nothing.
They offer no apologies,AND NEITHER SHOULD THEY,but the facts are that if anyone here listened to our posters and made an investment based on what they read.......they deserved to lose every penny.
I hope people learned  their lessons here.
