I read your post rather closely and there is one grave error in your assumptions. To ever believe that "the market did not get it right or even got it wrong" will be a death blow to your capital near every time. The market will stay far more irrational longer than you will ever remain liquid. That's the sole reason you never average down in a down trend. Cheers. :-)
