Shawshank you are absolutely right it isn't my bent, that's not who I want to be or become. If someone is going to act in a way I don't approve and provokes me--I will let that person know once and depending how much I have my emotions under control either spit venom really ruthlessly (if I'm rattled)or be stern and more measured with what I say and how I say it but still be firm. If after warning the person and asking for him or her to speak to me with respect as I am not the provecteur which usually I don't tend to be (at least not of late--I have chastised people in the past in regards to their sell decisions and that was absolutely wrong of me to have done as people have differing strategies, objectives and needs), and he or she persist I will do exactly what I had stated, I will not respond. if however, the person later talks to me or others on the board respectfully and I find something worth responding as I did with thetruthrite which really for the points that were raised I couldn't really disagree with other than within my response I will respond and give credit where it is due. In essence, I want to be neutral to what is said and preferably favorable and positive towards people as I would like that to possibly rub off--which it may or it may not but at least I can try. One other thing I will try to avoid, even though I am grateful to people who have stood up for me, is to persist on "going after" someone, I don't feel it is necessary or to act in a gang mentality type of way. If people have problems with each other I strongly believe it is better for others to stay out and let those who have their differences hash it out as I have been on the receiving end of being ganged up on and let me tell you something it really sucked. With this said, if I don't respond to someone saying well put if it either explicitly or implicitly attacks someone else it is because I don't want to press the issue further--I have stated what I needed to and I want to discourage any gang up type situations but again thank people who have supported me for doing so but please understand why I haven't responded. Quite honestly, I get exhausted and down reading about all of this and can't expand negative energy it only gets me more tired and I need my strength to continue on with other things as well. I really want the best for everyone and hope and will work towards civility if not from others at least within myself so as to reframe from baring my fangs and spitting my venom when attacked as much as I possibly can! have a wonderful weekend everyone. glta
