I suspect becuase it may have been so low that it might deter investores or it was higher and again, deter investors due to Glenns lack of Judgement. Either way.... no way to know. We all think Kinross was crazy to sell FDN so cheap... at that time, if we had gotten a similar offer of 244 million, we may have been disappointed. At this point, and with the exchange rate being at 82%, I would be happy with $1.50-$1.75/share. It is worth much more though IMHO.
