I think you might be right that there will be buying interest. My sense is there are groups thinking these are bargin prices (and compared to previous, they are).

For the next year, I just don't see oil moving to high enough price to bring these stocks back to the former level (and expensive at the current level - why is SU only 10 % down?).

I still think it is too early to enter in on energy stocks, but I was surprised the disconnect last Friday.

It is probably going to be easier playing the ETF on oil then companies, so will move to HOD out of HED.
