Scenario...Brookfield will take over through new company. Debenture holders will sue and may be able to force bankruptcy. Brookfield or bankruptcy will find the company is worth less than they thought....lot of equipment is leased, lot of plants do not own the real estate, equipment is old and of little value in a bankruptcy, there is no white knight (might be able to sell a couple plants but not many), drainage business will go for pennies on the dollar IF a buyer can be found, Shareholders get nothing , management will be paid out, most employees will be searching for work, Brookfield does not want to run the company....they would have to put in the "buckets" of money.
Not going to be pretty in my opinion
