RE:AAA vs. STB

RE:AAA vs. STBi HIGHLY doubt that the captial and operating costs will be 50% less than us..If that was the view, the shareprice would be trading much higher. I have reviewed the project and I do not see it as economically viable compared to ours. I do not think that the capex/opex will be lower than ours, so to say it will be 50% more attractive than the potentially lowest cost producer in the world is a STRETCH. I guess we will find out tomorow..

BTW I seen the economics of the mop side which they assume 425-475. the irr for that is only about 12-15% at those prices..  I did not spend enough time on the sop side to see where it is but the grade is lower (i believe) and the mining process is different... it is interesting to see what numbers they come up with.

oh and wasn't it the same company that eritrea took a 50% stake for nothing?? oh I mean in exchange for "support"? also, they have a 38% tax rate and a 5% royalty rate.. ouch..

so even if the economics are good, you can cut 50% straight out of the gate to where it is going to the government and take another 43% of that 50% and pay back the massive loan, then in 10 years, you will make money..
