Reflect wrote: Sorry; why not input as to why my suggestion of signing a waiver by the investor when he/she engages a brokerage firm as to whether he/she would like to have their shares (that they legally purchase & own) used for "shorting" purposes. This waiver would apply to all shares of all stocks aquired with the use ot the said brokerage firm.

If he/she choses their change their mind; another waiver could be signed with a reasonable waiting period before the actions would be reversed.

After all; he/she purchased & own the stock & why should they not have a say as to allow people to use their legally acquired property to acquire financial gain at their loss.

Show some maturity; and respond with reasonable debate.

did you sign that said waiver already?
