Inclined to agree. I can't remember what the payout ratio for WEQ was before the monthly distribution was cancelled but I think the payout ration for CFL is around 125%. Not too bad but higher than I'm comfortable with. And the dividend is around 13% or 16% depending on which source you favour, i.e. somewhere around the percentage that WEQ was before it was cancelled. I may well be wrong, of course, but I think there are better, safer options for anyone looking for a well-paying income stock; stable businesses that pay, say, around 7 or 8% with a manageable payout ratio. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with my WEQ shares waiting to see how it all pans out.
