RE:Seriously - why is anyone holding on to this company ???one morning shareholders will wake up to that fact.

mdaffin wrote: Why is anyone contemplating holding this? Last quarter, EPS was a -2.68 and the previous year they lost -7.07 per share.  They have long term debt of 2.4 billion against assets of 3.7 billion - which was probably determined when oil was trading at $ 100 per bbl. You can easily cut the assets value in half, but probably 1/3 is more realistic. These assets will need to be restated this quarter.

I know BMO won't place any value on this, which is the polite way of saying worthless. I think TD had an underperform rating and 0.50, but not really sure. One guy still has a short rating even at $ 1 !!!

I know Orlandoff wants to ride this all the way down - I hope he collects a good pension (must be government employee). If you are hoping they will regain their footing, you really need to sit down and review.

It's still too early to buy oil companies, but buying the worst company in a beaten up sector is not a good way to make money.

Radioshack put out a statement telling shareholders they are broke - stop buying their stock. I think Lightstream should do the same.
