RE:Still The Same Question "Here as VP of this and that, and took a CEO job with a small 30 year startup in Canada, and ran it into the ground.
In less than two years he squandered away a few Million Bucks they
Had on hand.
Lowered the workforce by approx 40%
lowered the SP by approx 400%
And developed new products he couldn't get out the door."
Well that very well may be how someone who witnessed the train wreck first hand would view it, but that is not how it was presented to the blind masses.
"At IDC, Mr. Lowther led the restructuring of the business and renewed the company’s business strategy, product portfolio and leadership team."
Isn't the creative use of the English language an art-form in itself? Why you can say things that leave an impression in people's minds that is 180 degrees out of phase with reality but in doing so, never lie. You just leave people believing that since you bothered to stated what the objectives were, that they must have been successful at it. I am sure glad that Doctors do not lubricate the language that way. If so and they were unable to save a loved ones life, it would be presented as " Dr. Smith is proud to announce that his objective of decreasing the family's food budget requirements, has met with great success. He is also proud to announce that the procedure was so conclusive that the patient Mr. Jones will no longer be requiring any any further followup work."
