Blue, The PR you quoted says "With this announcement, Canexus now has approximately 5.5 unit trains per week under contract". What part of the word "now" would indicate it needs clarification and we should do our own due diligence? As a public company, Canexus is responsible for providing full, plain and true disclosure to shareholders. This PR is (deliberately) misleading. Like stating in December that the facility was "meeting expectations" leading the public to believe that they were loading 4.5 trains a week when, in fact, they were loading 2.5 trains a week, which clearly does NOT meet the implied expectations. What part of the requirement for full, plain and true disclosure is ambiguous and requires us all to do more due diligence? RH

Hawk; They have always stated that contracts that have with Meg, Cenovous, the one they lost and the new one announced on 07 Jan were “Take or Pay”.

It’s human nature to See What We Want To See; Hear What We Want To Hear and Believe What We Want To Believe. Due to my Optimism I Assumed that “Take or Pay” meant that the customer had to “Pay” for whatever number of trains stated regardless of whether thy “Took” them or not. It didn’t occur to me to question that. If I had contacted Canexus for some clarification I expect that they would have advised me that I was wrong without disclosing the actual terms. I did not do that. I Did Not Do My Due Diligence!

There is nothing that I am aware of that prevents anybody from making inquiries to Canexus. To date I haven’t so I can’t comment on their responsiveness. Anybody that feels that they have been miss led or worse yet intentionally miss led should take it up with the proper authorities.

Whenever I feel that I have been miss led when I think about it invariably (with very few exceptions) I realise that I allowed myself to be miss led. Nobody’s fault but mine!

As Always, Do Your Own Due Diligence; It’s Your Money !!
