Spdr S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Etf V.XOP.W

Primary Symbol: XOP

The investment seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond generally to the total return performance of an index derived from the oil and gas exploration and production segment of a U. In seeking to track the performance of the S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Select Industry Index, the fund employs a sampling strategy. It generally invests substantially all, but at least 80%, of its total assets in the securities comprising the index. The index represents the oil and gas exploration and production segment of the S&P Total Market Index (S&P TMI).

Expenses and Lack of Transperency

Expenses and Lack of Transperency
User image

This picture is of Canadian Overseas Petroleum's latests cash flow statement. That is where they should break down their major expenses. This one has Administrative 7mil. That is a lot of money for this little company. What makes up Administrative?

It is not just the spending that bugs me, it is the lack of transpariency that really bugs me.

Their project sounds too good to pass up so at some price and after these questions are addressed I want to be the first one to speculate on their Liberia oil exploration program.

Glad you guys keep up the questions!
