Reasonably and realistically....Been a long time since posting on SH. I've been on the sidelines until today, looking for an entry point which I think has opened up at this level. The problem I had when it started trading was determining how to value the company. Sure, the company has plenty of potential, particularly if they affiliate or become the "go-to" intermediary for small gold purchases. Right now, with the big banks you have to place an order, add whatever their markup is (not 1%), then decide where to store, if to store at the bank, and so on. In my opinion this has been a huge deterrent for many smaller investors. Schiff had some nasty things to say, but then again you have to discount what he says with the fact that XAU is a competitor in this space. Given the investors that are involved, there will be a lot more traction of the concept going forward. If I recall they mentioned that there were close to 10K accounts opened when it went public last week. There are way too many smart investors in this one....anticipate that they will surprise to the upside when they announce their first numbers. Any marketing plan (and don't get confused about this company - it's a marketing masterpiece) would be built around increasing awareness and pushing the product in stages in order to maximize exposure. Big pop at the beginning made the headlines, ads everywhere now will support with new accounts, and there's already an indication of a pipeline of news that will keep XAU in the news....patents, account #'s, transaction $, etc. So the pipeline is ready for the next while and any surprises in addition to this will support the stock and reasonably push it much higher as the word gets out. Under 40 million shares o/s, so when there's a move up or down it's going to be big for a while under there's better distribution. I'd like to see the company do an offering north of where we are now, get some shares into solid hands and charge up the marketing plan. Big moves this week, but expect it to settle in a couple more weeks as the really small time players step aside because of the volatility. That's when the fun will start. IMO
